Sakshi's Master's project, “Westgate Stopping Centre,” reimagines Oxford’s Westgate Shopping Centre as a vibrant urban retreat. Designed to encourage visitors to pause, connect, and engage with the space visually, mentally, and physically, this project draws inspiration from Peter Zumthor's Principles of Atmosphere and Jan Gehl’s human-centric design principles. By transforming retail zones into dynamic urban parks, it creates immersive, community-focused spaces that promote social and physical well-being and inclusivity.
With expertise spanning conceptual design, strategic planning, behavioural psychology and multidisciplinary collaboration, Sakshi focuses on creating impactful, experiential spaces that redefine atmospheres and the way people interact with their environment.
