Project Architect - Data Centres | London | Leading International Firm
Our client is looking for an accomplished Project Architect to join their expanding data centres team, working within a studio known for its collaborative culture and genuine commitment to personal growth. Responsibilities include
- Coordinating and integrating architectural and consultant construction documents, including redlining, detail reviews, QA/QC checks and consultant communication.
- Creating well‑considered design solutions that respond to the functional and technical needs of each project.
- Translating design concepts into clear, compelling visuals and documentation.
- Preparing and delivering detailed construction drawings with precision and clarity.
- Supporting the development and management of project schedules.
- Presenting technical solutions to stakeholders confidently and professionally.
- Working closely with the project manager to resolve any issues between design intent and technical requirements.
- Demonstrating a strong understanding of construction standards, methods and timelines.
- Applying up‑to‑date knowledge of current methodologies, codes, practices and products.
- Maintaining strong client relationships and representing the team professionally.
Qualifications sought
- ARB registration is essential, with RIBA Chartered status preferred.
- Experience in commercial architecture, ideally including data centre work.
- Proven experience leading teams on large‑scale projects.
- A strong background in full design documentation, construction administration and consultant coordination.
- High proficiency in Revit is preferred, with additional 3D software experience welcomed.
- Confidence leading and collaborating within diverse teams.
- The ability to coordinate deliverables effectively and manage client expectations.
- Strengths in master planning, conceptual design and technical delivery.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
