A sustainable led modular construction company based in Greenwich is seeking a talented Senior Architect to lead the design and build of their residential projects.

Role

In this senior leadership position, you will oversee the full design lifecycle for modular residential projects, from concept through construction. Working with a multidisciplinary team, you will develop imaginative yet practical solutions that address the evolving needs of urban living. Your expertise will significantly influence projects that aim to revolutionise residential design and construction methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design and development of modular residential projects, ensuring innovative and technically robust solutions.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams by coordinating with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Oversee design reviews, quality control, and compliance with UK Building Regulations and industry standards.
• Drive the conceptual design, feasibility studies, and detailed design processes while balancing creative vision and technical requirements.
• Mentor junior team members and help develop best practices within the practice.
• Engage with clients to present design proposals and articulate the project vision effectively.

Requirements

• ARB registered Architect or CIAT registered Architectural Technologist
• Proven track record in leading residential projects
• Proficiency in Revit
• Deep understanding of UK Building Regulations and Fire Safety
• MMC, DfMA, off-site construction experience hugely beneficial but not essential
• Excellent leadership qualities, effective communication skills, and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
