Senior Architect for Retirement Housing/Care Projects at Leading Central London Practice
Are you an experienced Architect with a passion for leading impactful projects in the Retirement Housing and Care sector? A medium-sized, well-respected architectural practice in Central London is looking for a Senior Architect to join their team and take the lead on significant projects that truly make a difference.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Project Leadership: As the Senior Architect, you will oversee projects valued up to £60-70m, guiding them through all stages with a particular focus on stages 1-3. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping high-quality outcomes that meet the specific needs of this important sector.
- Team Management: You’ll manage a small, talented team, mentoring and guiding them to deliver exceptional work. Collaboration and communication will be key as you lead the team to new heights, with strong support from the directors.
- Client Representation: You’ll be the face of the practice to clients, building and maintaining relationships that help secure and deliver successful projects. Your ability to represent the firm with confidence and professionalism is crucial.
What They’re Looking For:
- Experienced Architect: The ideal candidate will have substantial experience running large-scale projects through all RIBA stages, particularly stages 1-3. A background in the Retirement Housing/Care sector is highly valued.
- Design and Technical Skills: Experience with Revit is a plus, but more importantly, the practice is looking for someone with a visual flair who can create high-quality presentation materials using 3D programs and Photoshop. The practice is prepared to offer training in BIM to the right candidate.
