Who We Are
Architecture Social is a specialist recruitment consultancy connecting bid and business development professionals with architecture and built environment practices across the UK. We partner with studios and consultancies that compete for design competitions, public-sector frameworks, and private commissions — all of which need skilled Bid Assistants to turn technical expertise into persuasive submissions. Through regular dialogue with BD directors and practice leaders, we maintain live shortlists so that when a role opens, your profile is already in the conversation.
What Our Clients Typically Ask For
– Experience assisting with bid, tender, or competition submissions in an architecture or built environment setting
– Confident writing and editing skills with the ability to articulate design quality and project outcomes
– Proficiency in InDesign, PowerPoint, and Word for producing visually compelling proposals
– Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage complex submission timelines
– Experience curating bid content libraries including project sheets, photography, team CVs, and methodologies
– Familiarity with public procurement processes including PQQs, ITTs, and framework agreements
– A collaborative approach to working across design, technical, and leadership teams under tight deadlines
If you combine creative communication skills with the rigour needed to manage competitive submissions, we want to hear from you.
