Who We Are
Architecture Social is a specialist recruitment consultancy connecting BIM managers with architecture practices and design consultancies delivering education and public sector projects across the UK. We work with studios responsible for schools, libraries, community centres, and university buildings where robust BIM management is essential to meeting funding body requirements and delivering on programme. Our active relationships mean we hear about BIM Manager roles in this sector before they are advertised publicly.
What our clients typically ask for
— At least five years of BIM management experience, ideally with a portfolio including education or publicly funded projects
— Ability to develop and maintain BIM Execution Plans, manage common data environments, and ensure ISO 19650 compliance across all project deliverables
— Strong Revit and Navisworks skills with experience coordinating models across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines
— Experience mentoring junior BIM staff, building internal capability, and contributing to practice-wide digital development strategy
— Knowledge of DfE output specifications, area schedule validation, and education-specific information requirements
— Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing demands across multiple concurrent commissions
— A relevant professional qualification and BIM certification (BSI, BRE, or equivalent) are desirable
If your BIM management ensures education and public sector projects achieve exemplary digital delivery standards, we want to hear from you.
