Bridging the gap between parametric design and physical making is where computational design becomes truly tangible.
Who We Are
Architecture Social is a specialist recruitment consultancy working with design-led architecture studios across London that push the boundaries of digital fabrication, complex geometry and advanced manufacturing. We are regularly approached by practices seeking senior computational designers who can translate ambitious architectural forms into buildable, manufacturable reality.
What Our Clients Typically Ask For
• Extensive experience with Rhino and Grasshopper for complex geometry and rationalisation
• Practical knowledge of CNC machining, robotic fabrication, 3D printing or similar manufacturing processes
• Ability to develop parametric models for bespoke facade systems, complex structures and sculptural elements
• Proficiency in Python scripting and familiarity with structural analysis plugins such as Karamba
• Experience managing the digital-to-physical workflow from design model to fabrication data
• Collaborative working with facade consultants, steelwork fabricators and advanced manufacturing partners
• Architecture or engineering background with at least five years of computational design experience
If your work turns complex digital geometry into built reality, we want to hear from you.
Why Register With Architecture Social
Digital fabrication roles at senior level are rare and tend to be filled through specialist networks. When you register with us, your profile is shared with studios that are working on architecturally ambitious projects where computational design directly shapes what gets built. We understand the technical depth of your specialism and match you with practices where your expertise will be valued and stretched. You will hear about opportunities that are not widely advertised, giving you a significant advantage.
How to Apply
Share your CV and portfolio with us, showcasing your fabrication-focused computational design work. We will be in touch as soon as the right opportunity arises.
