A prominent design studio based near Goodge Street, London, with a rich history spanning 20 years and a portfolio that includes residential, commercial, and co-living spaces, is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Part 2 Architectural Assistant. With projects in various cities across the UK, this is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to high-end residential, mixed-use commercial, and housing developments, as well as student accommodation and educational projects.
Role Highlights:
- You'll be diving into various RIBA stages, from concept designs to technical stages, playing a key role in expanding our project portfolio.
- Your work will include producing drawings, models, and documentation for planning applications, tenders, and construction, coordinating with the design team, and preparing for design presentations.
What We're Looking For:
- At least two years of work experience in a UK practice, showcasing a strong portfolio with good drawing skills, preferably including medium to large residential projects.
- Solid knowledge of UK building regulations and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- An organized individual who can plan, prioritize, and manage their workload effectively, meeting deadlines and working under pressure when needed.
- A great team player with excellent interpersonal skills, a proactive and solution-focused attitude, and fluency in English, with eligibility to work in the UK.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with Vectorworks, BIM protocols, 3D modeling (SketchUp), and NBS specification writing.
- A strong background and interest in the UK Residential sector.
