The Project Manager will provide support to the directors for all project management related matters. You will liaise with all project design team members, main-contractors and all project stakeholders, in regards all matters relating to project management prepare regular progress updates for management and stakeholders review work with the planning manager in determining what professional members need appointing and circulate briefs to potential design team members for them to tender, followed by you carrying out tender comparisons, reviewing terms and conditions, and recommending preferred consultant selection to management for their approval and your subsequent instruction for their appointment identify key milestones, set up OMPs (outline master programme), identify actions that need to be tracked and subsequently prepare and maintain all project related trackers help to establish lines of communication between all design team members, contractors and other stakeholders, and set up workshops, DTMs and methods of reporting as required assist management with evaluating new sites in terms of establishing development potential along with coordinating any necessary input from other relevant professionals and design team members have a keen eye on programme and budgetary constraints and work closely with the in-house planning manager in collectively playing key roles in supporting the successful delivery of new developments
The ideal candidate should:
- Have the legal right to work in the UK
- Have excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Have experience overseeing the selection, appointment and project management of the design team, including establishing scopes, assessing fee proposals, assisting with preparation of programmes, establishing lines of communication and reporting methods etc
- Have experience working in all RIBA stages in medium-scale residential led developments (circa 150 to 200 dwelling projects)
- Have good knowledge of construction methodology
- Be proficient in using MS Office
In addition, it would also be beneficial if the candidate has:
- Experience working on build to rent and co-living projects
- Experience working for a main contractor/client side experience
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite Packages
