Studio Manager & Marketing Assistant at Creative Design Studio

A burgeoning design studio, nestled in the heart of East London, is on the lookout for a part-time Studio Manager and Marketing Assistant. This role is a unique combination of ensuring the smooth operation of the studio and spearheading its marketing efforts. Ideal for individuals with a background in journalism, architecture, design, or a related field, this position calls for a gritty, highly organized, and proactive team player with a genuine passion for people, systems, innovation, communication, and/or business management.
 
As part of a young and collaborative team, you'll contribute to a diverse portfolio that spans private residential, commercial, and mixed-use schemes. Our practice prides itself on creating impactful architecture through collaboration, activism, and research. We understand the broad scope of responsibilities and are ready to adapt the role to fit the right candidate over time.
 
Your responsibilities will include:

• General office administration, from setting up project files and organizing systems to ordering supplies.
• Financial administration, including monthly reporting, invoicing, and payroll support, with a one-month training period to ensure a smooth transition.
• Playing a key role in marketing and content management, from copywriting for our digital platforms to managing our participation in events and liaising with the press.

We're looking for someone with:

• Stellar communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
• A strong work ethic and team spirit.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a working knowledge of the Adobe Suite.
• Previous experience in the architecture/construction industry and/or marketing/PR is highly regarded.
