The Data Slaughterhouse is a speculative architectural proposal by Inaaya Amer set in Canary Wharf, disrupting the rigid economic grain of the city. It merges archive and machine, harvesting and transforming data while physically embodying the friction between digital processes and analogue materiality, framed through the site’s colonial past.
Inaaya Amer is a First-Class BA (Hons) Architecture graduate (RIBA Part 1) with a design approach that combines technology, handcrafted models, large-scale drawings, and advanced digital tools. Graduating at the top of their class, they have developed a portfolio ranging from installations to large-scale architectural schemes, with skills spanning concept design, visual communication, and making.
