This central stair core, clad in solid Douglas Fir, is not just a functional element but an aesthetic pivot that channels natural light deep into the living areas, amplifying the sense of space. The base of the staircase exudes solidity, gradually giving way to open risers that allow light to filter through from the skylight above, creating an ethereal play of light and shadow.

An internal wall of Crittall glazing adds a touch of elegance and transparency, aligning with the overall design strategy to maximize natural light. Despite the restrained exterior, which respects the conservation area setting, the interiors celebrate contemporary design and craftsmanship, turning the house into a modern haven of warmth and light.

On the top floor, six newly installed dormers maximize natural light and space, providing the bedrooms with cross ventilation and a pleasing outlook. This floor also features a secluded outdoor terrace, accessible from the bedroom, offering a private retreat within the bustling city.

At the entry level, a lift ensures easy access to the upper floors, accommodating the needs of residents and guests alike.
