About the Designer
Alina Gangotra is currently a Part I Architectural Assistant working at Pegasus Group. She graduated with a 2:1 from the University of Nottingham, where her thesis focussed on climate-resilient housing in Croydon, a settlement highly vulnerable to surface water flooding. Her project creatively repurposed redundant energy infrastructure into a residential-agricultural scheme, addressing both housing needs and environmental challenges.
Alina now works in the Architecture team at Pegasus Group, collaborating with farmers and landowners to develop small-to-medium-scale farm shop projects. Her work focuses on creating bespoke, contextually sensitive designs that balance functionality with sustainability.
