About the Designer
Devaansh is a recent RIBA Part 2 graduate currently pursuing opportunities across the UK as a Part II Architectural Assistant. He completed his architectural education with distinction, receiving a First-Class Honours at undergraduate level and continuing to develop a critically driven and design-led approach throughout his postgraduate studies. His academic work is particularly focused on urban transformation, gentrification, and speculative resistance, with a final thesis project that critiqued the socio-political erasure of cultural identity in Soho, London through narrative-based architectural interventions.
He has industry experience spanning residential developments, interior architecture, and urban design, having worked with multidisciplinary teams during placements and freelance collaborations. Devaansh is now actively applying his academic insights to practice, seeking to join studios that value research-led design, storytelling through architecture, and social engagement in the built environment. His current focus is on developing his portfolio and professional skills while contributing meaningfully to conversations around inclusive and responsible urban design.
