His thesis, "The Power Oasis," is a visionary botanical garden that transforms Barcelona’s iconic Three Chimneys into a catalyst for ecological regeneration. Set in a future of severe drought and rising seas, the project uses solar-powered desalination to sustain native endangered plants, creating a resilient model of coexistence between human and ecological systems. More than a conservation space, it becomes a civic and scientific hub, merging biodiversity, climate innovation, and public engagement at the edge of a transformed Mediterranean coastline.
Harry Haodong Wu recently completed his Part II at the University of Westminster. He has two and a half years of experience in the architecture industry, having worked at Burrell Foley Fischer as a Part I Architectural Assistant. In addition to his UK-based experience, Harry has also contributed to the delivery of projects in China, bringing a cross-cultural perspective to his architectural work.
