Alexandra Buchanan Architecture is a Brisbane-based residential studio. Each project is conceived as a singular, site-specific response to its context and the lives it supports. By understanding how people live, what they value and how they want to experience their home over time, the architecture emerges with clarity and intent, with daily rituals, emotional connection and landscape informing the work rather than formula or stylistic repetition.

The studio runs a transparent process that keeps clients informed and educated as projects progress, absorbing much of the technical and strategic complexity while guiding clients through each stage. The homes are designed to last and to grow with the people who live in them, drawing on flexible layouts, durable materials and passive environmental strategies from the outset.
