Founded in 2009 by Amanda Levete, a RIBA Stirling Prize-winning architect, AL_A is an award-winning architecture studio known for its innovative and transformative designs. The studio's leadership team, comprising Ho-Yin Ng, Alice Dietsch, and Maximiliano Arrocet, brings a diverse range of perspectives and expertise to each project. AL_A's work is not just about creating buildings but also about crafting urban propositions that foster a harmonious relationship between nature and neighborhood, and express the identity of institutions and the ambitions of communities.

Notable projects by AL_A include the Wadham College at the University of Oxford, Maggie’s Centre in Southampton, the Exhibition Road Quarter at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, Central Embassy in Bangkok, and MAAT in Lisbon. The studio is also involved in ongoing projects like the expansion of Paisley Museum in Scotland and designing a prototype magnetized target fusion facility for General Fusion.
