Brian O'Reilly Architects

Brian O’Reilly Architects is a London based RIBA Chartered architecture and design studio, established in January 2004 by Brian & Tijen O’Reilly. The formation of the practice is the result of their desire to bring together their experience and ideas and to determine their own architecture as well as to realise their designs and make things happen. The practice has designed, transformed, restored and created many built projects. We consider every new project as a fresh challenge, tailored to a specific context, requirements of the client, site conditions and budget. Increasingly our portfolio includes conservation and work to listed buildings. Our approach is to deliver well conceived and detailed projects to our clients with strong emphasis on design and inventive use of building materials. The practice enjoys engaging in a range of disciplines needed to make a good project from spatial studies to detailed furniture design. All of our designs are a collaboration with our clients, builders & craftsmen. We draw on our personal cultural heritage and our environment to provide inspiration. We are inspired by authenticity of buildings, context, materials, light, design and people. We look to the visual arts and our surroundings for inspiration.
