buck&simple

buck&simple is a design driven architecture studio in Manly on Sydney's Northern Beaches, founded in 2013 by directors Peter James Ahern and Kurt Crisp. The practice is committed to craftsmanship, attention to detail and the inherent beauty of simplicity, with a reputation for high quality residential and interior design across Northern Beaches, Sydney's Eastern Suburbs, the NSW South Coast, rural New South Wales and Victoria, and Queensland's coastal regions.

Each project begins with the specific conditions of its site, climate, outlook, and brief, and develops its own architectural logic in response. The portfolio spans coastal homes exposed to extreme environmental conditions, dense urban residences shaped by privacy and spatial constraints, and rural or regional projects where landscape integration is central to the design outcome.
