City & Country

City & Country is a developer that specialises in restoring and converting historic and listed buildings into homes, alongside designing and delivering new-build housing. The company takes redundant or neglected buildings, from former Victorian institutions and factories to country houses, and reworks them into apartments and houses while retaining the character and craftsmanship of the original architecture.

Conversion sits at the heart of the company's work, often paired with sensitively designed new build that helps each scheme come forward. City & Country collaborates with a range of architectural practices as well as its own in-house design team, and works closely with conservation officers and Historic England on listed and heritage sites.
