Gbolade Design Studio is an award-winning architecture practice specialising in sustainable design; making places with people at the heart of our process through analysis of, and, insight from, existing communities. We respond within the framework of our Ethos: Design-led, Sustainable, Innovative, Community-Centred and Commercially-Minded. We believe in excellence and equality, and choose clients and projects accordingly.
As experts in residential-led developments and strategic place regeneration, we allow each project to respond uniquely to its own context (physical, environmental, and socio-economic); creating places and developments that deliver added-value for our clients; and experiences that enrich, empower, and connect communities.

At Gbolade Design Studio, there’s no corporate nonsense, and no old-fashioned hierarchy or micro-management; instead, we work as a self-sufficient, yet integrated, team of associates. What does this mean? In the simplest of words, each associate is trusted to set their own direction if and when one isn’t given; feeling empowered to determine what needs to be done, and doing it, without waiting for someone to tell you to.
