Description

Glider Technology is a built environment software and consultancy business that helps asset owners, developers, contractors, architects and engineers manage information across the full lifecycle of a building, from design and construction through to operation.

Founded in 2016 and headquartered in Blackburn, Lancashire, Glider combines its own software platform with a team of digital delivery consultants. Its flagship product, gliderbim, is a common data environment (CDE) that acts as a single source of truth for projects and built assets. It brings document and asset data management, automated verification of asset information, an asset register, unlimited storage and built-in file viewers into one connected platform, so teams can share project information and collaborate across their supply chain.

Alongside the software, Glider consultants support clients with BIM management, digital handover and information management, helping to deliver digitally assured projects and meet building safety and golden thread requirements. The company works across government and public sector, defence, commercial offices, healthcare, data centres, education and housing.

Glider was ranked number 5 in the 2023 PropTech 50 list of the most innovative UK property technology creators, and holds ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certification. The team works remotely and is focused on doing genuinely useful work for the built environment while supporting one another.
