KSS is an award-winning AJ100 architecture and design practice with offices in central London and Sevenoaks, Kent. Founded in 1991, the practice specialises in architecture, interior design, and graphic design and branding, and is one of the leading sports stadia and training-centre architects in the UK, with a strong presence in residential, education, commercial, hospitality and workplace sectors.

The aim is to create intelligent and flexible modern architecture, with design informed by site context, functionality and a practical approach to sustainability and energy efficiency. KSS works across virtually all market sectors and holds an international reputation on major sports venues and training facilities, working with local partners to deliver projects overseas.

Sports and stadia projects include the Anfield Road Stand expansion for Liverpool FC, the American Express Stadium in Brighton, the Leicester City FC Training Centre, No.1 Court at Wimbledon for the All England Lawn Tennis Club, and the proposed Elland Road expansion for Leeds United FC. The practice also delivers interior and graphic design, creating tailored interiors, wayfinding and brand identities that reinforce its architecture.

KSS takes its professional management responsibilities seriously, with services quality assured under ISO 9001:2015 and environmental policy certified under ISO 14001:2015. As an RIBA Chartered Practice, it provides ongoing training and runs a sponsorship and mentoring programme supporting graduates through to Part 3 qualification, and uses BIM to improve design, construction, energy performance and risk management.

As an RIBA Chartered Practice, it provides ongoing training and runs a sponsorship and mentoring programme that supports talented graduates from post Part 1 practical training through Part 2 to Part 3 professional qualification. Many graduates stay on and progress to senior levels within the practice.
