MIK Architecture is a Miami-based architecture practice founded by Chilean architect Matias Daroch in 2020. The studio designs contemporary, modern-style residential projects across the Miami-Dade area, working closely with developers, investors and homeowners.
What makes the practice unusual is its model: design, construction and real estate development sit under one roof. The architecture studio works alongside a building team and a wider development group, so each project is designed with the build programme and the budget in view from the start, rather than treating them as separate stages.
MIK's focus is single-family, high-end residential, taking projects from feasibility and site research through schematic design, construction documents and on-site observation. It is a full Revit and BIM practice and uses tools such as Twinmotion to communicate ideas with clients early.
Based at Coral Way in Miami, the team blends in-studio and remote working across Florida and Latin America.
