Founded in 2008 with offices in London and Berlin, we provide services for a wide range of clients in the UK, Germany and across Europe. Completed work includes a number of acclaimed award-winning schemes: Heath House and Cascade House in Hampstead; The Gables in Primrose Hill; Marconi House in central London; and Zieselhouse in Berlin.

The practice enjoys transforming existing buildings for new uses as well as delivering innovative and site-specific new build projects. By juxtaposing traditional architectural styles with modern interventions we produce sensitive but powerful designs that compliment their context. Inspired by ‘Pataphysics - a philosophical and artistic movement dedicated to exploring the imaginary - the practice is interested in the poetic potential of architecture. The bold, and sometimes experimental use of materials, exemplifies this in Patalab’s pursuit of an architecture that is a joy to inhabit.
