The founder of Practice of Architecture, Evelyn Lee, has spent over two decades in Practice and is actively engaged within the American Institute of Architects, serving more than ten years of elected leadership at the National Level.
Throughout her career, she listened to other architect’s frustration about other industries coming in and taking work previously owned by the architects, be it project managers, contractors, developers, and more recently, building technology companies. At the same time, architects rarely identify opportunities where they could expand their services or even change their business model to open up more value creation for the firm.
The Practice of Architecture responds to Architects’ necessity to evolve the way they practice to remain relevant in an ever-changing world. We take the best practices and lessons learned in businesses and entrepreneurship outside of the industry and help individuals and firm leaders rethink the opportunities they have given their architectural roots.
