Projects by People

Projects by People is a digital platform founded by Alvin Zhu to connect the global architecture community. Rather than focusing only on finished projects, it puts the people behind the work first, sharing the stories, interests and journeys of designers and students around the world.

The idea grew out of Alvin's own experience of studying architecture in Brisbane and going on exchange to Milan, and a belief that the connection found in studio culture should be open to everyone, not just the few who are able to travel. Projects by People invites anyone to submit their work, and has explored short video introductions as a way for the community to get to know the people behind the projects.
