Threefold was founded in 2004 by friends; Matt Driscoll, Jack Hosea and Renée Searle with a shared mission to make buildings and spaces which do more; make us more Collaborative, Healthy, Inspired and Productive. This ethos influences every activity of our architectural practice and we seek to embed these values in how we work with our clients, our team, our partnerships and communities. Our award winning architecture practice has an established reputation for being at the forefront of both housing and mixed use design. Our focus is not the size of a project but its potential. Our schemes range from creating individual single family homes to unlocking the potential on small and complex sites to delivering large mixed use & residential developments of 150 units. We work with communities to understand their needs, designing appropriate typologies to accommodate families with integrated landscapes & play, compact units with generous shared amenity, specialist housing for supported living and co & multi-generational living. We work with leading housing providers including Pocket Living, BeFirst and Brick x Brick to design and deliver healthy mixed use developments. Our buildings are healthy on the inside and healthy for the outside world. We work with our clients to target net zero, designing the fabric of our buildings to work hard, minimising waste, re-using or selecting materials which are recycled or with low embodied energy, integrating biodiversity and harnessing technology to reduce carbon footprints and energy use. Everything we make has a positive impact.
