The Role
The Architect will contribute to the technical delivery of projects across all RIBA stages, with a strong focus on Gateway 2 submissions and construction‑stage coordination. Working within delivery‑focused teams, the role will involve assisting with technical packages, coordinating consultants, liaising with clients and contractors, and supporting projects through Gateway approvals, Building Control and site delivery. This position suits a confident and motivated architect who enjoys problem‑solving, takes pride in technical quality, and is keen to further develop their experience across project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the delivery of projects through RIBA Stages 3–5, including involvement in Gateway 2 submissions
- Prepare and assist with technical design, compliance and construction information
- Support the preparation of Building Regulations, Gateway and Building Warrant information where required
- Coordinate with consultants and contribute to multidisciplinary design reviews
- Liaise with clients, contractors and statutory bodies as part of the wider project team
- Collaborate with and support colleagues across the studio
- Maintain design intent while ensuring buildability, quality and regulatory compliance
- Assist with site coordination, responses to RFIs and construction‑stage problem solving
Skills & Experience
- ARB‑registered Architect
- Experience delivering projects through technical and construction stages, particularly RIBA Stages 4–5
- Good working knowledge of Gateway 2, Building Regulations and compliance‑led design
- Comfortable working directly with clients and consultants under senior guidance
- High level of proficiency in Revit
