About the Practice
A design-focused architectural studio with a strong portfolio in luxury and lifestyle hotels is seeking an accomplished Architectural Technologist to strengthen its hospitality team. The Role
You’ll be a central figure in the delivery of high-end hotel projects across RIBA Stages 3 to 5—ranging from boutique refurbishments to complex, large-scale new builds. You will lead technical development, coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure that every element—from façade to finish—meets the highest design and construction standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead production of detailed technical and construction drawings using Revit
Develop and manage coordinated construction packages and Building Regulations submissions
Liaise with consultants, clients, and contractors to resolve design and delivery challenges
Support site teams during construction phases, resolving queries and maintaining quality
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, accessibility requirements, and hospitality-specific building performance needs
Coordinate complex interior detailing and service integrations typical of hotel environments
What You’ll Bring
Degree in Architectural Technology, ideally with CIAT accreditation
At least 5 years' experience working on hospitality or technically complex public-facing buildings
Advanced Revit skills and strong understanding of BIM workflows
Expert knowledge of UK Building Regulations, fire strategy, and interior fit-out standards
Proven experience producing detailed, coordinated packages across RIBA Stages 3–5
Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with confidence managing technical issues on-site
