The Role: As a BIM Manager, you will be a crucial part of multiple project teams, responsible for developing and implementing BIM strategies, ensuring model integrity, and promoting best practices across the studio. You will collaborate with clients, Revit specialists, and various project stakeholders to achieve seamless BIM coordination, comprehensive documentation, and top-tier quality management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute BIM Execution Plans, strategies, and protocols at the project level.
• Contribute to BIM strategies and policies across the studio.
• Set up and manage complex project models, including team briefings and inductions.
• Oversee the Common Data Environment, ensuring effective model sharing.
• Create complex content in collaboration with designers.
• Provide troubleshooting, mentoring, and training to project teams.
• Perform clash detection and regular model health checks.
• Identify and resolve issues affecting scope, programme, or quality.
• Stay current with BIM best practices and implement them across projects.

Experience & Skills:

• Extensive experience as a BIM Manager on medium to large-scale construction projects.
• Proficiency in Revit and Navisworks, with a strong understanding of BIM processes.
• Detailed knowledge of ISO 19650 and its application in design.
• Experience in RIBA Stages 3-5, with a focus on commercial construction techniques.
• COBie experience is essential; Dynamo scripting is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a client-focused approach.
• Ability to train and mentor less experienced software users.

Requirements:

• Due to the nature of the projects, successful candidates must undergo a security clearance process, requiring at least 3 years of UK residency within the last 5 years.
