This leading practice is looking for a BIM Manager with a strong architectural background to join their team in London. You’ll be at the forefront of their digital transformation, working closely with the Corporate BIM Manager and Technology Director to implement company standards, support strategic BIM direction, and provide Revit training across the group.
BIM Implementation: Help shape the firm’s BIM strategy by implementing company standards and promoting BIM across all teams.
Technical Support: Assist in resolving hardware, software, and networking issues to ensure smooth project delivery.
Innovation and Awareness: Identify and introduce new BIM technologies, and raise awareness of modern digital construction concepts within the firm.
External Collaboration: Liaise with industry bodies and clients to maintain the firm’s leadership position in the BIM space.
Sustainability Integration: Promote sustainability strategies and ensure their full integration into the design process.
Advanced Revit Skills: Expertise in Revit and related platforms such as ArchiCAD, Solibri, Navisworks, and NBS Chorus.
BIM Knowledge: Strong understanding of COBie, Uniclass 2015, and BIM-related BS, PAS, and ISO 19650 documents.
Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and a team-player mentality are essential.
DFMA/MMC Experience: Knowledge of Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA) and Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) processes.
BIM Qualifications: Any nationally recognized BIM qualifications would be a plus, though not essential.
