Document Controller at Dynamic Design Studio in East Putney
Are you an experienced Document Controller ready for a new challenge in a thriving design studio? A well-established and comfortable studio in East Putney is looking for both mid-level and lead Document Controllers to join their team and work on exciting projects, including some in the Middle East and Europe.
Join a dynamic team where your document control expertise will be pivotal. You’ll work closely with project leaders, clients, third-party consultants, and other stakeholders. Your role will include controlling the issuance and reception of documents, verifying documents for accuracy and compliance, maintaining project registers and control logs, and assisting project teams with storage and access to project information. Additionally, you will help prepare reports and manage the scheduling and closeout of project processes.
For the mid-level position, ideally, you’ll have extensive document control experience in an architectural or construction environment, along with knowledge of Aconex and NewForma or other process-led document control systems. Detail-oriented and highly organized, you’ll be comfortable working to multiple strict deadlines and possess strong communication skills. The role offers a salary of £40-42K, with an annual pay rises and the potential to earn up to £45K.
For the lead position, in addition to the above requirements, you’ll need to stand up to demanding project leaders and have a strong personality. This role requires more leadership and will offer a salary of £50-55K. Proficiency in Aconex is essential for this position.
Fluency in Arabic is a bonus, especially for those covering Saudi projects, adding to the diversity and complexity of your role. You’ll be part of a team that covers 4-5 projects, with specific roles in the Middle East, UK, and EU.
You'll be based in the studio providing a modern and comfortable working environment. The studio offers a hybrid working model, allowing you to work from home up to six days per month, preferably on Tuesdays and Thursdays, as agreed with the project leader.
