About the Role
As a Document Controller, you will play a crucial role within the project team, focusing on space planning and base build for large-scale luxury retail projects. You’ll be instrumental in all project stages, from concept design to completion, working within a multidisciplinary team to realize projects for the world’s most innovative retail operator.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee document control for large-scale luxury retail projects, ensuring superb standards of quality control.
- Manage a high volume of incoming and outgoing project-related documents, maintaining clear and consistent file-naming processes.
- Liaise with project teams, clients, and consultants to upload, download, and share drawings, reports, and specifications.
- Translate key correspondence for internal and external communication, including managing meetings, log ins, and minutes.
- Prepare Drawing Issue Sheets and ensure all documentation is correctly submitted.
- Support the design team with document management systems (Aconex, Conject, or 4projects) and time management.
- Utilize strong working knowledge of Excel and a solid foundation in AutoCAD; understanding of Revit is beneficial but not essential.
About You
- Minimum 3 years of experience in document control within the architecture, engineering, or construction industries.
- Fluent in Mandarin with excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to new systems and protocols with ease.
- Confident in processing a high volume of project-related documents and proficient in MS Office and MS Projects.
- Experience with Newforma and a strong working knowledge of document management systems.
- Demonstrated experience in administration and time management.
- Clear and efficient numbering and labelling skills, with a proactive approach to maintaining document standards.
