Marketing and Bids Manager at Award-Winning Architecture Practice

Are you a Marketing and Bids Manager looking for a new position at an award-winning architecture practice?

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Marketing and Bids Manager to join a leading architecture practice based in South East London. The role involves steering the marketing and bids functions within the practice, coordinating and writing bid submissions, and implementing marketing and PR initiatives. The role will be roughly split 50/50 between bids and marketing.

The successful candidate will report to and work closely with the senior management team, building strong relationships both internally and externally. You will be responsible for managing high-quality bid and tender submissions, leading in the support and delivery of marketing campaigns, managing events, PR, e-communications, social media, internal and external communications, and general marketing functions.

To be considered for this role, you must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be self-motivated, highly organised, and able to work well under pressure to meet deadlines. You should have the ability to think creatively, generate ideas that demonstrate an understanding of the needs of the practice's clients, and deliver a competitive advantage for the practice in marketing and bid work. A significant element of the role will include writing bid responses and other marketing content, so applicants should be proficient writers.

Applicants must be educated to degree level (or hold equivalent professional qualifications or experience), with experience within the architecture, construction, or related built environment fields. Experience working on bid and tender processes is crucial, as is a proven ability to manage the work of others and build strong relationships both internally and externally.
