What our clients typically ask for
AAT-qualified (or working toward) with 2–5 years’ bookkeeping experience in architecture, construction or professional services

Fluency in cloud accounting software—Xero, Sage, QuickBooks or practice-management platforms such as Deltek Ajera / Rapport3

Confident handling purchase and sales ledgers, bank reconciliations, expense claims and supplier payments

Working knowledge of VAT, CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) and basic payroll processes

Ability to track project costs, timesheets and work-in-progress, producing clear reports for directors and project leads

Eagle-eyed attention to detail and the discipline to hit month-end deadlines without fuss
