Who We Are
Architecture Social is a recruitment partner and professional community serving investors, developers and multidisciplinary teams across the built environment. Our clients rely on Development Managers to spot opportunities, de-risk delivery and drive value from land purchase through hand-over. They brief us long before roles are advertised, so we keep an active shortlist of commercially minded leaders ready to step in.
What our clients typically ask for
6–12 years’ experience guiding residential, commercial or mixed-use schemes for a developer, fund or major contractor
Full life-cycle capability: land appraisal, design brief, planning strategy, procurement, construction oversight and exit / leasing
Financial fluency—DCF modelling in Excel or Argus, JV structuring and cost / programme forecasting
Proven record leading architects, engineers, QS and agents while balancing design quality with IRR targets
Confident stakeholder management: winning local-authority support, negotiating S106 / CIL and liaising with investors, occupiers and community groups
Clear reporting that keeps boards, lenders and project teams aligned on risk, programme and budget
