2–4 years’ experience supporting Windows Server / Active Directory, virtual environments (VMware vSphere or Hyper-V) and on-prem to Azure/AWS hybrid estates

Day-to-day management of Microsoft 365, basic PowerShell scripting, patch management and endpoint security (Intune, Defender, CrowdStrike or similar)

Solid grasp of switching, VLANs, Wi-Fi controllers and firewall rules (Cisco / Ubiquiti / Fortinet) with the ability to troubleshoot latency and VPN issues

Familiarity with Autodesk licensing, Adobe CC deployments and CDE platforms (BIM 360, Asite, Aconex) for workstation imaging and updates

Monitoring mindset—using Nagios, PRTG, SolarWinds or similar to keep uptime high and alert fatigue low

Clear, customer-friendly communication: documenting processes, updating tickets and translating tech jargon for architects under deadline pressure
