These firms require dedicated Technical Coordinators to manage the flow of detailed design information, ensuring that projects are buildable, compliant, and well-coordinated. What our clients typically ask for
A background in Architectural Technology, Architecture, or Construction Management.
Proven experience in a technical role, coordinating detailed design information for construction.
Responsibility for managing and reviewing technical drawing packages from architects and consultants (structural, M&E, etc.) to ensure coordination and compliance.
Experience in managing the RFI (Request for Information) process, resolving technical queries between the design team and the construction site.
A strong understanding of UK Building Regulations, NHBC standards, and other relevant legislation.
Proficiency in reviewing design information in software like Revit and AutoCAD, alongside experience with document control systems (e.g., Aconex, Asite).
A proactive problem-solver with strong communication skills, capable of chairing technical meetings and driving the design coordination process.
