Neil Cownie Architect is a research-led design practice with a West Australian sensibility, exploring the unique parameters of each project to find an outcome customised to site and client, immersing the studio in local culture.

Neil designs to consider not only isolated buildings but their environment and the landscape in which they are located, delivering a holistic experience in building and landscape as one. From initial briefing through to completion, Neil remains involved across the design and construction process, advocating for clients to produce something with timeless beauty.

The studio is located on the lands of the Whadjuk People of the Noongar Nation, in Perth, Western Australia.
