About
Gavin Crump is the founder of BIM Guru and is widely known across the architecture and construction industry as the Aussie BIM Guru. He studied architecture before specialising in Building Information Modelling, moving through technician, coordinator and BIM manager roles on large projects, including a major hospital delivered in Revit.
In 2020 he set up BIM Guru, a consultancy offering BIM strategy, modelling and systems, coordination, computational design and training. He is also a prolific educator, sharing tutorials and workflows through the Aussie BIM Guru YouTube channel and championing open knowledge sharing within the AEC community. He now also leads computational design work in wider practice as National Computation Lead at Architectus.
