About

George Guida is an architect by training, an educator, and the founder of xFigura, an AI platform for architects.

He studied at Oxford Brookes University and the Architectural Association, worked for several years at Foster + Partners in London, and continued his education at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, where his work focused on applied machine learning and computational design in architecture. He has since consulted architecture firms on AI strategy and tool-building, and teaches AI and architecture, including at the University of Pennsylvania.

George sits on the RIBA's expert advisory group on AI. In 2025 he founded xFigura, a platform that brings leading generative AI models into a single collaborative canvas for architectural concept design.

He features on the Architecture Social Podcast discussing AI in architecture, building an AI startup, the role of AI in architectural education, and where he sees the profession heading.
