With years of experience as architects in the physical world, Michel Vieira & Leonardo Marchesi, founded Decent Architect to embrace the challenge to design in the Metaverse.
About
Leonardo Marchesi is an Italian Award-winning Architect, the designs are conceived to stimulate a mindful way of living and the open-minded approach seek to explore the possibilities for extraordinary spatial experiences.
After a decade of experience in Architecture firms, both in Lisbon and London, in 2021 decided to start on his own from Ribamar (Portugal).
Amongst the early successes of the young enthusiastic practice, there are publications on the most prestigious Architecture Magazines such as Archdaily, Casabella, and the prestigious awarding 1st Prize of Young Architects Competitions.
Helping other Architects with visualizations he also developed a series of Digital Artworks called Digital Sketches, which explore the relationship between photography, rendering and land art, a selection of them has been selected to be part of the prestigious Desplans Collection nd and are available to order.
Since 2021 he got into the crypto community and nfts in general and launched a trilogy NFT collection called Desert Sessions which is available on the exclusive digital artwork curated marketplace Foundation.app.
Being also an Ancient Egypt geek, he decided to launch in 2022 The Egyptian Feeling the first Youtube Channel dedicated to Ancient Egyptian Architecture, with every episode being a mini lecture on a specific building especially from early dinastic and Old Kingdom period.
In collaboration with belgian Artist Louis De Cordier, he developed fundraising project NFT Amulets, (launch expected in October 2022), that aims to fund the next archaeological expedition to the legendary Labyrinth of Hawara in Egypt in 2023/2024.
Leonardo received the Bachelor Degree in Science of Architecture at the Politecnico di Milano (Italy) and the Master Degree in Architecture at the Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa (Portugal) in 2014, is a fully licensed Architect in Portugal.
