About

Lucy Bullivant is the founder of Lucy Bullivant & Associates, a London consultancy working across place strategy, curating, artistic direction and public speaking.

An author, strategist and curator, she has written extensively on contemporary urbanism, including Masterplanning Futures (Routledge), curated more than 30 exhibitions internationally, and chairs design review panels. Her place-strategy work spans the public sector and business improvement districts, with community engagement projects from Oslo to Enfield.

She holds a PhD from London Metropolitan University and an MA in Cultural History from the Royal College of Art, and was elected an Honorary Fellow of the RIBA (Hon FRIBA) in 2010. She is also founder and creative director of the urbanism webzine Urbanista.org, and a trustee of the Temple Bar Trust, where she curates its talks programme on architecture and built environment education.
