Golden Square is a residential apartment in the heart of Soho, designed by Annabel Harrison of Fare Inc. Set within a part-developed property that lacked character, the 186 m² (2,000 ft²) interior was reworked to introduce texture, depth and considered detail. The intent was a calm modernist envelope animated by carefully chosen art and materials, producing a home that reads as serene and minimal yet remains comfortable to live in.
The dining and living spaces sit around a bespoke cream linen sofa with an extended chaise, set against a tumbled marble writing desk. A vintage rosewood and black leather dining set, paired with pouf benches and an antique French painter's trestle table, gives the eating area an informal-formal balance. In the kitchen, an Arabescato island anchors the room beneath Soho Home pendants, with Momento olive-green leather bar stools picking up the warmer tones. Black shingles applied to the existing joinery add depth and texture to an otherwise pared-back palette.
Completed in 2020 across a single level.
