Hedderwick is a family home in Melbourne by NTF Architecture, built for a household with two teenage sons on a large, steeply sloping site with irregular boundaries. From the street the house stays deliberately reserved, giving away little of what lies behind it. Inside, the design turns outward and engages with the outdoors while holding on to a strong sense of privacy. Completed in 2016, it is conceived as a private home that reveals itself only gradually.
