Description
On Lonsdale Street in Melbourne's CBD, Hugg is a compact 100 square metre retail space selling health and sheepskin products. Tandem Design Studio assembled the fit-out from readily available building materials, setting two contrasting geometries against one another: a regular, modular order on one side and a series of irregular surfaces on the other.
Completed in 2015 across a single level, the shop turns an everyday material palette into a considered interior delivered on a modest budget.
