About the Designer
Divya Vura, a RIBA Part II Architectural and Urban Designer with a Master’s from Oxford Brookes University, is recognized for her work in adaptive reuse and multigenerational urban living. Her academic project, Urban Mosaic: Adaptive Reuse as a Catalyst for Multi-Generational Living in Cardiff, received the Certificate of Recognition for Sustainability and Adaptive Reuse from Oxford Brookes University. The project reimagines a post-industrial district in Cardiff as a vibrant, inclusive, and sustainable community, blending historic preservation with contemporary urban needs through the adaptive reuse of industrial structures. It demonstrates how thoughtful design can revive underutilized spaces into socially connected and environmentally resilient neighborhoods. At present, Divya continues to deepen her expertise in ecological and community-led design, bridging her architectural experience with a focus on resilient and intergenerational urban living.
