Issy is deeply interested in socially and environmentally responsible design. Her thesis project uses the impending urban renewal of Lövholmen in Stockholm as a test-bed to disrupt and negotiate the short term nature of developers’ financial interest in the neighbourhood to a long term view where “Lövholmen is a place for all”.
Image: The waterfront is not a luxury commodity. By returning the waterfront to common ownership, the waterfront becomes a place for different qualities of space and for more than one thing to happen at a time.
