Stephen is the Founder of the Architecture Social and an ambassador for the Architect’s Benevolent Society, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and a professional member of the Recruitment Employment Confederation and the Association Of Professional Staffing Companies.
He is also a former elected Council Member of the RIBA, Group Member of RIBA’s Future Architects and Education Group, Visiting Critic and Teaching Assistant of Manchester School of Architecture, professional mentor for Postgraduate Architecture students at the University of Westminster, and a guest lecturer for students of LMJU, MSA and Coventry University.
Hannah Funnell
Senior Associate & Head of Architecture
Hannah worked in the industry as creative support for esteemed practices such as WilkinsonEyre, Adjaye Associates, Feix&Merlin as well as Holland Harvey before starting her career in Architecture Recruitment.
Her love for the built environment and experience working in the industry means that she wholeheartedly enjoys discussing projects and guiding candidates through portfolios, this combined with her interpersonal skills enables brilliant and long-lasting placements.
Tom Egerton
Associate
Tom leads the Architecture Social’s In-House recruitment service, which offers practices a revolutionary way to discover and acquire top talent from across the architecture and design industry.
Before joining the Architecture Social, Tom gained extensive experience in the profession working for nearly four years at the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) before making the move to architecture recruitment two years ago. At the RIBA, he was pivotal in managing large scale professional events. He was also a key member of the RIBA’s Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Working Group and managed the Large Practice Expert Advisory Group.
Ricky Fernández
Senior Talent Partner
Ricky is a Senior Talent Partner at Architecture Social, specialising in the Architecture desk, where he connects top talent with leading firms in the industry.
With over five years of experience in the construction industry as a Quantity Surveyor, Ricky developed a deep understanding of construction as a whole before transitioning into the recruitment side of things over two years ago. His background gives him a unique perspective on both the technical and business aspects of the industry, allowing him to match the right professionals with the right opportunities.
Ben Woo
Talent Partner
Ben has been working within architecture recruitment since 2023 to connect professionals with impactful career opportunities.
As a former music producer with a background studying the Creative Arts, Ben brings creative flair to talent sourcing, expertly matching candidates to their design studios.
Yinka Daniel
Talent Partner
Yinka Daniel is a Talent Partner at Architecture Social, building on earlier people-management roles at Landsec and other built-environment organisations, blending commercial insight with a passion for inclusive hiring and community growth.
At Architecture Social, Yinka leads candidate experience and guides clients on equitable recruitment strategies that strengthen culture and performance.
